UW CNT faculty member Amy Orsborn has been selected as 2026-2027 Fulbright Scholar. Amy will work at the Centre for Restorative Neurotechnology in Lisbon, Portugal, where she will collaborate with Juan Álvaro Gallego and John Krakauer to better understand neuroplasticity and use BCI algorithms to develop new methods for stroke rehabilitation.  

In August, 2026, the CNT and the UW DO-IT Center held the Neuroscience for Neurodiverse Learners program where neurodiverse high school students learned about neuroscience, neural engineering and future STEM careers.  CNT member Tim Brown, pictured on the right, also provided an interactive lecture about neuroethics.
