On June 16, 2024, 11 undergraduate students from around the country arrived in Seattle to take part in the summer
CNT Research Experience for Undergraduates program. These students will work in laboratories of CNT members and present their research during a symposium at the University of Washington on August 14.

Azadeh Yazdan and Kathy Leach (former UW Bioengineering postdoc research associate)
created a new class titled “Leadership in STEM.” The course introduces students to leadership skills and covers topics in leadership styles, effective communication, delivering and receiving feedback, building trust and earning respect.
