The Translational Neuro-Engineering Laboratory (TNL) focuses on the development of closed-loop brain stimulation techniques as therapies for psychiatric disorders using deep-brain stimulation. TNL uses both animal models and human subjects to develop and test new stimulation methods and parameters to influence brain circuitry.
