The IEEE is the world’s largest international society of biomedical engineers and the leading publisher of original research in biomedical engineering with 11 technical journals and transactions. With over 12,000 members in 122 chapters worldwide, 47 student branch chapters and 18 student clubs, the EMBS has a wide variety of chapters and networking opportunities for its members. Chapters provide local activities such as workshops, tutorials and speaker talks for members who may not have the opportunity to attend other worldwide EMB activities.
