HONORS AND AWARDS

Congratulations to Toma Itagaki and William Ojemann who both received NSF GRFP Awards. Toma with join the Department of Computer Science Department at Columbia University to start his PhD in Human Computer Interactions in the fall.
Congratulations to Greg Moore (Josh Smith Lab) who recently defended his PhD thesis titled "Enabling Electroceuticals" successfully. Greg will begin work at Cirtec Medical as a Senior IC Design Engineer soon.

In late March 2023, CNT Executive Director Eric Chudler traveled to Dharamsala in northern India to teach neuroscience to a group of Tibetan Buddhist nuns.

The CNT welcomes Neural Education as a new Innovation Partner. The Neural Education Non-profit is dedicated to bringing safety, structure, and a sense of belonging to every student and classroom by uniting the neuroscience of learning with the power of teaching. Neural Education leverages district, state, and university partnerships to connect educators with industry experts in neuroscience.
